musings

so i was thinking that if i manage to update this once every month ill be doing quite well. a friend of mine blogs like a maniac as im sure many people do however, i have more of a casual love affair with the blog. also im kinda lazy.

so maybe i will maybe i wont but i reckon i will... but i might not... am i rambling yet?
anyways. mebe a bit about myself... keeping it simple, i like anime, manga, music, scifi, fantasy and games. thats me in a sentence.

recently moving to tassie has put a decent dent in my friends bank due to the simple fact of distance. keeping friends is all good but keeping up contact to a level that seems like your still there isnt. that being said. i have found a total of one and a half anime fans in this place i am now in. the whole anime crowd is also not typically nown for its boistrous, outgoing socialite behhaviour.

HOWEVER! the anime at launceston library is reserved at an alarmingly speedy rate. my current theory runs twofold. part1) there is one otaku who is constantly borrowing as many dvds as s/he can and watching them over and over again. or part2) there is a wealth of possibly like minded people all hiding at home watching anime instead of making friends with me. this makes me sad :( see? <-- sad face.

you know in those post-appocolyptic movies where theres one person sitting on their own, the city is in ruins. wild animals prowling freely on streets once filled with life? i am that person. and anime fans is the city. they must only come out at night. and it must have one hell of a long day.
